Did you ever get that feeling before, that admirable feeling that makes your day light and easy, then all of a sudden it’ll vanish like the stars when the sun is about to rise? It’s very disappointing, but this feeling helped come to a realization for today.
Yes, you should fight for the one you love, chase them, don’t ever let them go when you find them. But what if it’s only one a side fight? She is telling you she likes/loves you but her actions shows otherwise. Would you still go on, or would you let it go? What if you have done everything you could but she is constantly pushing you away?
Sometimes you need to stop chasing people to see if they really care about you, if they’ll chase you back once you got tired in your pursuit, but the scary part is when that person didn’t even care. But you can’t always let yourself get hurt, do not be a masochist, you need to respect and treat yourself better, love yourself first before some can love you back. And maybe you are chasing the wrong person, what if the right one is the one that has been there for you all along?
Yes, you should fight at first, fight for your love, but if you feel like you are already losing the battle, then stop and reflect, then decide whether you’re going to continue the fight or you would just let it go?
Sometimes, there are things that are better if you let them go.
PERSONALITY
Occupying the 6th position in the Chinese Zodiac, the Snake symbolizes such character traits as intelligence, gracefulness and materialism. When it comes to decision-making, Snakes are extremely analytical and as a result, they don’t jump into situations. They are effective at getting the things they want, even if it means they have to scheme and plot along the way.
Snakes are very materialistic creatures, preferring to surround themselves with the finest that life has to offer. This is especially evident in the home, where luxurious furnishings and surroundings help Snakes seek the peace they need in order to thrive.
HEALTH
Snakes prefer living a life of calmness, preferring quietness over noise and a manageable workload rather than a schedule that’s overly-booked. Snakes become easily stressed when their lives aren’t peaceful or in order. Too much of this way of life can shorten a snake’s life!
CAREER
Snakes do work very hard, but they have a tendency to be job-hoppers as they become easily bored. Their somewhat laid-back attitude causes them to be mistakenly categorized as slackers, but nothing could be further from the truth! Snakes are very creative and extremely diligent. They’re excellent problem-solvers and thrive under tight deadlines. Good career choices for Snakes include: scientist, analyst, investigator, painter, potter, jeweler, astrologer, magician, dietician, and sociologist.
RELATIONSHIPS
Snakes are excellent seducers so they never have trouble attracting others. However, they’ll be the ones to decide when a relationship has potential and when it does not. Once they’ve chosen a partner, a Snake’s insecure side will begin to show through. Snakes guards their chosen partners much like a prized possessions, becoming jealous and even obsessive. Snakes prefer to keep their feelings to themselves. It’s important to never betray a Snake’s trust as a betrayed snake will make it a goal to get even some day!
Just got home from Greenbelt. Met with my High School friends, and we watched a movie and did some catching up. Well, we basically talked about how our future will turn out, like at what age will I get married, stuffs like that.
It was fun, I had a great time with them. Full of laughs and whatevers.
Anyway, what I didn’t like about the day is that Greenbelt is full of prostitutes, yes, yes it is. I remember when I was still young, Greenbelt is very nice place to hang-out, but now it feels like the streets of Malate are extended in it. Prostitutes are everywhere, from gays to girls. It feels odd, it’s like I’m not even in Greenbelt, it is literally like Malate. How did it come to that state? I don’t know. It’s just not right.
The management of Ayala Malls should clean Greenbelt, it is not a very healthy view, especially there are children roaming around the place.
Well, that was my day 3 of my Life and Lies. Goodnight for now. :)
Yesterday, I was watching National Geographic with my mom.
I found out that there is this goddess in India who is like the rat goddess. Did you guys know that rats are sacred in India? They believe that the rats are the reincarnation of their ancestors. So they don’t see the rats as pests.
In fact, in the temple of that goddess, live a thousands of rats, almost 20000. They feed them and they eat with them, yes, for example they will feed the rats with a banana, they will also bite that same banana. Yuck and weird, right?
Even if the rats carries a hundreds of diseases within them, the indians don’t see it that way, instead when they get sick they go to the temple and be one with the rats, and they’ll be healed after, well that’s what they believed.
Anyway, I find this disturbing. I mean, come on, the rats have rabbies, and they are dirty, who would want to live with them, right?
This day is probably my most non-stressful day since I started doing real work in the office. Not because I was unproductive today, but it’s my last day in the Maintenance Team, tomorrow I’ll start working as a developer, new challenge, new hardships.
In preparation for this, my senior gave me some reading references to read, to further enhance my skills about Java and to introduce me to some new technologies, like Apache Camel.
I tried reading one today, but I can’t seem to understand what’s the use of this Apache Camel, I’m totally clueless. I dunno if the article I’m reading is too hard to understand or it’s just me who is not paying attention to whatever I’m doing, whatever the case is, I really don’t understand what I’m reading.
Anyway, I should be able to understand this Apache thing otherwise I’ll be the one to suffer when the development for the project starts.
Pressure is on me.
Yes, this is Day 1 of The Life and Lies of a dancing dork.
